Parish Bulletin – 14th August

Dear Parishioner/Friend of the Parish

Ordination to the Priesthood: Deacon Ninian Doohan (also known as Brother Ninian) has been a regular visitor at the Latin Mass in Immaculate Heart over the last two years. To mark the occasion of his ordination to the priesthood the parish will present him with a gift. It is not yet too late to contribute – if you would like to help, please give your donation to Fr. Morris over the next week.

Deacon Ninian will be ordained on Monday August 15th in Dundee Cathedral.

He will offer a Low Mass here in Immaculate Heart on Thursday 18th August at 6.15pm after which he will offer individual first priestly blessings to all who wish to receive them. This will be followed by tea in the hall.

He will then offer a Solemn High Mass in Immaculate Heart on Saturday 20th August, at 12 noon, and will give individual first blessings after Mass. Mass will be followed by refreshments in the parish hall, and the presentation of your gifts to him.

It is a great moment in the life of our parish to be able to support a new young priest. I encourage all parisioners to make every effort to pray for Deacon Ninian and to welcome him in person over the coming week.

With every blessing,

Fr. Morris
