The prayers of the Latin Mass slowly flourished from Apostoilic times. While the Canon is thought to originate from St Peter himself, other prayers and actions were added imperceptibly over hundreds of years under the inspiration of God the Holy Ghost working through the Saints.
This page allows us to take our time in focusing on the individual prayers so that we can ponder them and therefore achieve a greater participation when it comes to assisting at the Holy Sacrifice.
